BIO and BIOVue on Windows 2008, SQL 2008

Does anyone know if BIO and BioVue can be installed on Windows 2008 with SQL 2008?  All the documentation refers to Win2K3 and SQL 2000/2005.  I've tried installing it on Windows 2008 against SQL 2008 and am runnning into all kinds of issues.

If you want to use BIOVue do you have to have BIO installed or can you just use BIOVue?
