Guidance on using the AppDesigner for customizing entities

When I customize entities using the classic method, e.g. Dynamics 365 > Settings > Customization > Solutions, the new component inherits the prefix of my custom solution:

When introducing new entity components in the App Designer, the App Designer does not honor the prefix of my custom solution and instead prefixes new entries with _new.

Is there a way to change this so that the App Designer honors the prefix of my custom solution?

Hi ,

When you create entity from App Designer the entity basically creates in the default solutions. Recommended way is to create solutions first and add entity over there.Publisher you can attached with the solutions only and not in the app designer.

Once you create Solutions , make sure you choose the options "Use existing solution to create the App" while creation of App. So that you can get all the solutions component in your app designer. In that case you dont have to create any additional component while designing your app.
