The server could not load DCOM

I currently am using a trial version of POS 2009 while I wait for my key/download from microsoft (I have purchased it). I had been using POS2009 successfully for 3 and a half weeks with no errors, then when trying to view reports for my past week this error comes up.

In addition when i try to do z reports it brings up an error that it could not calculate the sales by the hour.

Please help

    Update:

    I have upgraded to windows 7, reinstalled everything. Now it says

    "The conversion of a nvarchar type to a datetime data type resulted in a out-of-range value"

    Thank you for your questions.

    What is your computer's regional and language format set to?

    Try changing it to English (United States) if it is not already configured as such.

    This option can be found under the Control Panel in Region and Language.
