Dynamics Ax 2012 R3 India Localization User Guide

Hello,

There is a documentation for India localization for Dynamics Axapta 2009 version.

After that last year there has been a major change in India Tax System. By the way Microsoft has published a package for the GST regulations.

These update is available for ax 2009, 2012 and dynamics 365 version.

What i need is a user guide for the India localization. Because most of the setup defined in ax 2009 documentation was replaced with the new setup. On the other hand the GST documentation does not cover all of the topics for the India localization, for example: import tax setup, export setup, miscellanry charges setup, fixed asset setup or the TDS/TCS setup.

So i need a documentation for Dynamics Ax 2012 R3 version for all of the Inida localization.

Thank you

    Hi,

Have you checked the following documentations?

    D365FO:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/unified-operations/financials/localizations/apac-ind-gst

    DynAX:

    https://mbs.microsoft.com/customersource/northamerica/AX/downloads/tax-regulatory-updates/GST-India

Also check the globalization portal on LCS where you can find additional information.

    Hello Lodwig,

    I have checked them all.

Unfortunately non of the documents are clear enough.

The India localization documentation for ax 2009 release is exhaustive.

After the GST regulation, the localiztion documentation should be updated with a new one. But as far as I see, Microoft published only GST documentation, not the GST effects on the prior regulations.

    Hello Fatih Kartal,

Can you reach out to your local MS support? They should be able to help you out with more specific / updated documents that help you.

Please also check related threads on Indian GST on this community site as related questions have already been recorded before.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
