Hi,

I want to delete all email attachments with .png types in CRM 2016. I am able to run a query in Bulk deletion job option. But it is deleting email messages as well which i don't want. This situation arises because the emails syncing from outlook with all e-signatures and company logos in to CRM. This causes the storage problem. Any help to get rid of this email attachments with specific (png) format would be appreciated.

Not a direct answer to your question, but I've recently implemented this solution:

dynamicscrmbinarystorageoptions.codeplex.com

It keeps everything te same for end users, but stores all attachments (notes and email attachments) in Azure Blob storage. Which is significantly cheaper than CRM online storage.
