Human Resources -Termination Reason field

I would like to collect a Termination Reason Code in GP Human Resource Series, and have it available in a SmartList, along with other fields, including:

Employee Class, EID, Job Title, Last Name, First Name, Seniority Date, Date Employment Inactivated,

Reason Employee Inactivated, Inactive, Type of Employment, Phone 1, Phone 2, Address, Address 2

City, State, Zip.

If anyone has used a field for a similar purpose, in the record where the above fields are also available, please let me know.

Good Day Janet,

For Canada Payroll, both the Inactive Date (PDateEmployeeInactivated) and the Reason (PReasonInactivated)

are in the CPY10100 table.

Hi,

I can find the 'Reason employee inactivated' the US version of GP. Can you tell me how to find that information in the Canadian version of GP?

When inactivating an employee, you can capture the "Reason" on the employee maintenance window.

Most, if not all, of those fields are available in the SmartList - Payroll/Employees - Including the Termination Reason Code - it is called Reason Employee Inactivated.
