Cash Drawer Install

I recently upgraded my computer to Windows 7 and installed my Dynamics RMS.  I have all of my peripherals installed and working correctly except for my cash drawer.  It passes through my Epson Printer (VERY old Model #TM-T88IIP).  The printer works fine and my cash drawer says it passes the health check but doesn't open.  It also doesn't open with my POS.  No error given...it just doesn't open.  My OPOS drivers are Epson Ver 2.68E.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

On the register list/ Cash Drawer 1 make sure you have checked mark on CASH

DRAWER 1 IS ENABLED FOR THIS REGISTER.

and copy and paste OPOS device name from Epson OPOS

    More detail:

    Open RMS Store Operations Manager

    Click Database, Registers, Register List

Select Register #, check box "Cash Drawer 1" and click Properties

Select Cash Drawer 1 Tab, check box for "Cash drawer 1 is enabled for this register, and type the OPOS device name exactly as is appears in OPOS. (copy and past if needed)

I double checked and all my setting and LDN in Manager are fine.  It doesn't even open outside Manager when I check the health even though it passes the Check Health test.  I'm assuming it's a driver but am not totally convinced of that either.  Any other suggestions would be appreciated.  Thanks!

Yes, most likely it's the driver. If the cash drawer was fine prior to the update/driver change then I would look into using a different driver.

Hello read some of these and they sound great, so I did want to add a little if I may?

Take a peek if you would into Manager/File/Configuration/Options tab/Pos Options is share Opos driver with other applications checked? If not check it and close and re-open the POS hope that helps.

Didn't that printer model have a drawer kick open plugin that required a cable from the cash drawer (like a phone cord) if the settings are right and the share opos driver freeman mentioned is selected and it still doesn't open? Try swapping that cable especially if the check health on the drawer passes. Thanks.
