Hello All
We have a requirement to capture the batch for batch-tracked items at the time of sale
Is there a road-map to release this feature? What can be an alternate approach to capture this?
This is not currently supported on POS and haven't seen any roadmap so far. Please refer to the below thread on the same topic for more details.
Could you use Serial number tracking instead, as a work-around; which is supported.

Hi,
Whilst you can't input a batch number the setup for the default batch in commerce paramaters will respect the released products item model group settings - so FIFO / FEFO and expiry dates, or just batch order at the store warehouse if that is what you have. Recently tested this.
