Hi Everyone,

We have a lead entity integrated with Sharepoint and whenever I upload a document it creates a document folder based on Record Name + GUID.

How can I rename that?? like Record Name + "Custom Lead ID"

Thank you in advance.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

You can stop using GUID in the name field using Steps provided here

    www.inogic.com/.../

For the second you can't do that using out of the box way, you have to implement your own logic to create SharePoint folder for you. You can use Flow to create SharePoint folder for your lead.

    This should help you baddaz.com/create-your-own-document-locations-in-dynamics-365-using-flow-9649ecaf3672

    Hi Mahen,

Thank you so much for the solution. I was able to remove the GUID but for renaming the folder using flows it says that D365 Triggers are now deprecated. Any other way to achieve it?

Just be aware that if you are creating Document Location by Flow as per the provided link, that you need to watch out for the scenario where the user clicks on the Related Documents item on the CRM record before the flow is initiated or completes (as the click will create the folder with the GUID).

To remove the GUID you first need to change the organization settings of CRM. To change the settings, please follow the steps given in this link.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks!
