Can anyone tell me what this System Job is or does?
We have found it running frequently in our environment and the jobs are processed so quickly we can't get the details.

I had seen that blog post too. He talks about suspended system jobs whereas they are being processed really quickly in our environment, and so we aren't getting an exception like he was.
I have found this entity documentation here, but would still like some clarification about how this entity is used, and what the system jobs in my screenshot are actually doing.

Yes, not much information. It looks like some internal thing but can't say for sure.

Yes, I have raised a ticket with Dynamics Support to see if they can provide me with any more information. I'll share it here if they provide anything useful.
Hi Inskrm, any update on your ticket from MS?? we have the same issue with around 100,000 of these jobs waiting for resources
Inksrm, did you hear anything back from Microsoft on this? Even we notice lot of system jobs which are in waiting status reason for this.
