Error when trying to Merge Cases

Hi all 

When we are trying to merge cases we are getting the following error

Merge Cases We couldn't merge I cases. I case failed:State code is invalid or state code is valid but status code is invalid for a specified state code.

How to troubleshoot this issue

We are getting the error message even after adding Merged status manually to the status reason/status code on case under canceled

    Hi Gnandeep, do you have any other customization for this entity? Workflow or Plugin should have do that one. Try to disabled it first and retry. After that you need to check which of your customization that make this error.

    Hi,

    the error message clearly stated the status code is invalid, try to check do you have any workflows or plugins is processing that particular field?

    Unfortunately no, we don't have any plugins or worklows processing on the field Status Code

    Correct me does the Merged status reason has to have the attribute value as 2000 ?
