Prepayment invoice on Sales Quotes

Hi, how can i create a prepayment invoice on Slaes Quotes. Is there a possible to do that?

    Hi,

    I dont think that you can do the Prepayment on Sales Quote. You either need to convert it to an invoice or an order to do the prepayment.

    Out of the box, with customization it might be possible.

    Its only possible in SO and SI. If you want to generate some document without any financial entries you can use Proforma Invoice but unfortunately it will have the full amount of the order/invoice.

    In Business Central, creating a prepayment invoice directly from a Sales Quote isn't possible by default, as prepayments are typically managed on Sales Orders.

    If customized, it should be possible, but I personally don't recommend it.
    As other experts mentioned, please create a prepayment invoice after converting it into an order

    It's not possible and I wouldn't recommend it. You should first convert the quote to an order and then do the prepayment from there.
