got issue in CCDS in d365fo

hi team,

I have configure CCDS between two legal entities like USMF and USSI for vendor master

But I got the above issue. Kindly let me know how will resolve this? So, that I can share the vendor master between legal entities.

Please give me more shed on this.

Hi,

VendTable has a sharing type set to "Single". So, it's not available for Cross company data sharing.

It must be set to "Duplicate" to be used in Cross company data sharing.

Hi Girish, You mean to say if the data sharing type is Duplicate, those table only we can use in CCDS?

Yes, but Mohit said there is a feature available. Try enabling that feature and check.

Also, the link provided by Mohit will work in development environment. But I am not sure whether it will work in UAT or Production environment.

This feature was added in 2020 and that article was published in 2020. In the comment section in year 2021, it was mentioned to use this feature for production (Check the comments section) and one user replied that it worked.

I can see this feature in Dev and UAT so not sure if all those steps are still required for Dev env. So before enabling it in UAT or prod, you can enable in Dev and test it.

Customer and vendor master data sharing Description

Enables sharing of customer and vendor master data in a cross-company data sharing policy without using a Master company. Note that there a enforced limits for number of companies and records per policy, click Learn more, for current limits.

Note: I can see MS has made this feature mandatory, so check if its already enabled in your environments.
