Hi All,

We are re-implementing a CRM solution for a customer and as part of it are supposed to migrate existing Data to newly created org.

Both orgs are D365 9.0 versions and we have to migrate the following entities:

Account
Contact
Cases
Activities

I am new to Data migration and kingswaysoft tool as well and this the strategy I am following, please let me know if there's anything else also which I have to take care of and is missing from the list:

Get all accounts
Get all contacts
Update contacts with Account lookup
Update Accounts with primary contact lookup
Get all Cases
1. set customer relationship
Get all Activities
1. Attach to Case etc

Is there anything else I have to take care of here? Like SLAs, resolved cases etc or just setting the lookups, statecodes on these entities same as Source org will do the job.

Que: Why are you doing this migration? (In Online world) If its in same tenant then you can just ask Microsoft to take a backup of current and restore on new Org. Even it its on another tenant then raise a ticket with MS and they can move it for you.

I would suggest talk to MS and you will not be required to this manual migration using any tool.
