Hi Ramesh, please make sure you provide descriptive thread titles and you provide enough information about the problem.

I'll try to find a better title than "initialize-axmodelstore -server AXServer01 -database AX2012_MODEL -SchemaName TempAXSchema"; providing more details is up to you.

I am not sure if my answer here makes sense or not but i have seen "Pipeline stopped" error mostly for two reasons

    1) when more than 1 aos is installed on a single machine and command is confuse on which AOS you want to do job

    or

    2) when axmodelstore fie is blocked

AOS  & DB are in the same machine ,  but in this case  only 1 AOS exist in that machine.  "profile name is not valid" when  i am trying to initialize using the following command.

    "initialize-axmodelstore -server AXServer01 -database AX2012_MODEL -SchemaName TempAXSchema"

Is your database instance full name AXServer01..? i am not talking about computer name, i am talking about DB instance name (the one you get as you logon SSMS)

Usually i use AXUtil to manage my schema with following command using Dynamics AX powerShell.

    AXUtil schema /schemaname:anyNameOfSchema

I also do not give names to schema such as TempAXSchema because that is very generic.

Can you see something in event viewer or logs..?

BTW if active configuration of AX on AOS server is pointing to correct AOS, it should take DB instance name and model store DB name itself and there should be no need to pass these parameters.

AX seems to work fine , only problem is importing the model store to it.  This is my QA Environment which has been setup newly and restore the Business & transaction database from Prod.

What does it mean "Profile Name" ?

I haven't seen this error of "Profile Name", so its hard to comment on this without having system in hands. it may be SQL server security profile or anything else. as you have restored database on your QA environment, i hope you fixed references after restoring the environment such as service user and admin user with correct SID(s). I am sorry for not being helpful, i hope you had a look of logs as said in my previous reply. Please consider creating a support request with Microsoft, also share your findings with us.
