Edit in Excel limit reached-Increase refresh limit

Hi,
I created a Bom Component list page in a SAAS environment. The Page will be editable in excel.
There is roughly 240,000 rows with around 10 columns.

I received an error that the cell refresh limit of 1 000 000 cell has been reached.

Question: Is there a way to increase the 1 million cell refresh limit? Also, why is the refresh limit added, does it have something to do with table locks and performance of BC?

Helllo,

One mio records it the current limit to my knowledge. Increasing this limit does not seem to make much sense as Excel has a limit of 1,048,576 rows.

Hi Marco Mels, the problem is not the amount of records but the amount of cells.

Hi, in MS Docs, there is only a limit on the number of rows, and no limit on the number of Cells.
I recommend raising an SR to Microsoft.

As discussed during the call operational limits for BC Saas are not editable, because they ensure stable performance both for your tenant and the the others that are sharing the same resources.

The best way to move past the limit will be to rearrange the Bom page and split it if possible in order to be within the limits.
