Looking for a "Stock Count" edit list.

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

I am hoping you can help me get a report out of Great Plains.  We entered the counts from our physical inventory into GP, but I can’t figure out how to get a report that will show the adjustments so we can review.  I’d really like this report in Excel.

    Hi,

I  believe you will need to craft your own report using the IV10300 (header) table and the IV10301 (line item) table. You can use Excel to make a data connection with the SQL server and have a refreshable report. I would use MS Query and use a parameter pointed to an Excel cell for the count ID.

    Kind regards,

    Leslie

Hi John, Thanks for the reply. I don't see how this helps me. I want to view the adjustments that were entered in the Stock Count before I finalize it.

Does the SmartList - Inventory - Item Quantities help you? It doesn't show any adjustments, but should be an accurate item count. And, you can export it directly to Excel.
