Hello everyone i'm trying to add 3 fields from TaxTrans and VendTrans to Sales tax transactions - details report.

So i duplicated the report and extended the TaxTransDetailDP this the code

any ideas or solutions? thank you.

Hi Wassom,

Have you used the debugger and checked if the new fields in the _taxTrans record variable actually has values?

Hi wassim,

As Andre mentioned please debugged the code and find whether you have values for HPSText and HPSTaxGroupDescription from _taxTrans buffer.

Alternate way will be using OnInserting event handler of the temp table.

Hi,

Based on the problem you described, it seems that the HPSInvoice field is successfully assigned a value, indicating that vendTrans contains the value Invoice, so have you debugged to make sure that the _taxTrans contains the HPSTaxGroupDescription field and the HPSText field

Hi, In addition, while debugging if HPSText and HPSTaxGroupDescription fields are getting values in code but not displayed in your report then restart Sql Server Reporting Service. As others have mentioned, issue can be that _taxTrans table buffer does not have values in those fields. In that case you have to insert values first in the table record or test with other data that have values.
