Where can we enter the Routing Bank information in GP - EFT Payables

In the vendor EFT Bank information I can see only Transit Routing Number. What my requirement is to have both beneficiary bank details(Bank account/name/code..) and routing bank details(Routing bank account/Routing bank name/code..) in the EFT file generated.

    Hi Anish,

You can enter your account details in Checkbook EFT Bank Maintenance window(Cards >> Financial >> Checkbook >> enter or select a checkbook ID >> EFT Bank button).  You can enter the vendor account details in Vendor EFT Bank Maintenance window (Cards >> Purchasing >> Addresses >> EFT Bank). Is this what you are looking for? If not, can you explain which two accounts “beneficiary bank details (Bank account/name/code..) and routing bank details” needs to be printed on EFT file?

    Thanks Rubel.

What actually we require is to have the  routing bank details also to be printed in the EFT file,

apart from the vendorEFT Bank details and our bank details. Routing bank act as an intemediate bank and will be

having different account number, SWIFT, IBAN..

As a last option I thought of utilizing Additional Information fields available in the Vendor EFT Maintenance window

and to incorporate those in to the EFT File format.

Please share your thoughts on this and advise if you have any different option.

    Thanks,

    Anish.

Running into this one myself in setting up EFT to Indian vendor - "correspondent bank" seems to act as an intermediary between our bank and the Indian bank, so that bank's info will need to be stored somewhere.  Were you able to use the Additional Info fields successfully?

Sorry for the late reply Andy. We actually dropped the plan of using the EFT module and infact we developed a customized product with in GP which will generate an EFT file as per the standards. Users are happy with that :)
