The Cloud” is the new technology catch phrase. In case you didn't know, "Cloud" is another name for the Internet. Whenever you "move to the cloud" you are accessing a program, functionality or a piece of computer or telephone equipment via the Internet.
What are the benefits of cloud computing?

Businesses are hesitant to make large investments in technology because they fear that what they are buying may become obsolete before they can experience ROI. Software needs to be updated frequently. If they are not updating, the software may be ineffective. By using the cloud, technology never becomes obsolete and is always up to date.
- Levels the playing field. With the cloud, a smaller company has access to the same technology and advancements that larger companies do. A small company can use the same state-of-the-art phone systems and computer software and functionality that a large multinational company would.
