I am getting the following error trying to use leave request under business portal that is linked to the HR and Payroll module. Any idea where this linking is done?
"You don't have access to this feature because your Business Portal User ID is not mapped to a valid employee record."

Found it. The option to link the ids is under Site Settings > Business Portal Administration > Users > Role > Back Office ID
