i've created a process with 5 steps in the model driven app. and now i want to allow the entire company access to step 1, but only one team should have access to all steps.
how to do this?
Hi,
The privileges of a security role to the BPF are set for the whole BPF and not for the Stage.
So it is recommended to create two different BPFs. One only has the first stage and the other has all the stages.
Then grant the privileges to the security roles of your different teams.
For example, I created two BPFs for Contact entity. Set a security role only have the privileges for one of them.
When I log in as a system administrator, I can see all the stages.
When I log in as the security role set, I can see only stage 1.
It can also be achieved by getting the user currently logged in with JavaScript, which is a is relatively cumbersome method.
If this helped you, I'd appreciate it if you'd mark this as a Verified Answer, which may in turn help others as well.
Best Regards,
Nya
