how to modify existing plugin source code for dynamic crm 2013 on premise ? thru visual studio ?please help me

    If you want to just update source code you can double click on the plugin name and it should open source code for you, after that you can do changes and build it, finally deploy it your organization

    then you use PluginRegistration Tool to update the plugin.

    For Reference you can use  the below link but for update , select your assembly and click update and it will ask you to update your new dll. If you wish to debug then you can follow the all the steps.

    but i cant see option of "edit step" when i click on respective plugin .please find below screen file
