Accounts Receivable Security

In the Receivables Transaction Entry window (Transactions >> Sales >> Transaction Entry) under Document Type is there a way to only allow the functionality to raise Credit Notes and Returns to certain users? Basically, I'd like to restrict document access to certain users.

I think Field Level Security would only work if you wanted to stop people changing the document type from Invoice so you would stop them doing any other transaction type.

You might be able to use VBA to reset the type to Invoice if a user of specific classes try to change it. There is a Change event available.

    Frank:

Thank you.  Can the form be modified with Modifier to remove credit memo and return so that one group of users sees the full list and the second group only sees a partial list?

    Thanks!

    Nope.  It's all or nothing.
