How to set permission in specific tab

I have a form that can be used by all users, in that form I have a tab, all users can watch that tab, but only a specific team can edit that tab.
I didn't find an option to restrict the use of that tab In crm permissions section management, so I turn to JS for a solution, I need to know how to "catch" that tab, how to know that a user clicked on it or using it - is there a xrm option to get it ?

On the other side if there is an option to restrict permissions to a tab using crm permission managment I would like to know where and how to use it.

    Hey Wei Jie well in recheck of field level security  my problem is that no matter what I choose to the read update create settings of my field the data of my field shown like this ****** that is a new Issue and I will open a new topic about it

    Hey Wei Jie,

    I tried to use Field security on fields but it doesn't work, a team member and non a team member can edit that field.. I did the tutorial step by step and yet everybody can edit the field... so I have no option but use JS

    Hi,

    there is no permission for tab, but you can do it for field.

    maybe you can consider using field security too. No code needed and it is easier to maintain.

    There is no permissions on Tabs. There is no way that you can set a tab to read only to a particular subset of users and to read/write to another.

    Your options are to set subgrid permissions of the related entities in the tab using Security Roles, and to set the fields as Read Only using JavaScript (get particular permissions based on logged in user).
