Best way to create static segments

What is the best way to create static segments in D365 Customer Insights-Journeys Real-time journeys? We aim to add contacts either by name or email, but in RTJ, searching for a name doesn't provide the account name or email as it did in outbound marketing. Additionally, when adding an email address, we can't confirm if the contact is in D365 until the segment goes live. Both of these experiences are less than ideal for targeting specific contacts.

    Hi  NGSD,
    To create a static segment in D365 Customer Insights-Journeys Real-time journeys, you have the option to "Include Contact" by manually selecting contacts. For more advanced control, you can switch to different views that display additional details, such as the company name associated with each contact. You can also filter these views as well by status reason, for example.

    I noticed the max number of contacts I can include in static segments are 99 contacts. Do you know if there is a workaround?

    Hi NGSD,
    Yes, I believe that’s correct. In this case, you can either manually upload the contacts using a CSV file, or add them to a Marketing List first and then include that Marketing List in your segment. The csv file upload is a new feature that has been released last year.
