CRM 2013 Outlook Plugin : nightmare or real help ?

Hello everyone,

We use CRM 2013 On Premise. Some users work very often with CRM 2013 Outlook Plugin.
I think it can be useful but sometimes, It's a little bit complicated to explain sync filters / offline filters / sync fields to my users.

For instance, they want to sync contacts adresses with Outlook (adress1 and adress2 in CRM) but I don't find any info about sync fields about adresses.

In Outlook, Contacts tab, there are 3 adresses (Private, business ...) but I don't understand sync rules.

Have you some informations about that ?
Thank your for your time / help.

You can configure whether or not to synch all three contact addresses:

Settings > Administration > System Settings > Synchronisation tab

"Synchronize all three addresses (Business, Home, Other) in Outlook contact"

Given the description of this setting, it seems clear that Outlook business address goes to CRM Address 1, Home to address 2 and Other to address 3 (yes, there is now an address 3 for Contact records without using "More Addresses").

Thank you Adam, but I didn't find the "Synchronize all three addresses (Business, Home, Other) in Outlook contact"  option.

It is on server-side or local conf (Outlook client) ?

    Perhaps a CRM 2015 feature .... :(

Although I haven't changed any of the sync fields I believe from Outlook select File>CRM>Synchronize and drop down to 'Review Synchronize Settings'. You can then select and modify what is synced.

    Hope this helps
