GP Report Writer Repeating Field

Have a packing slip that I have created a notes section directly under the Item section. The notes field populates on the report but for some reason it repeats itself under ever line item above it. So if I have 3 line items it appears 3 times under every line item.

How can I get this to just appear once after the item listing?

Thank you for your response.

1) It is a report that a previous user created. Original doesn't have the notes text field.

2) It is the Sales -> Transaction Entry -> Packing Slip

3) The sections are listed in the Header list, only 2. 1st is Item (works fine) 2nd is Notes header - in its own.

4) No breaks that I can see - trying to figure out if that's the issue and how to create the proper break

1) this is most likely a modified report, check if the original report shows the same result.

2) which report specifically are you having the problem with?

3) in which section are your notes?

4) how many sections do you have and what do they break on.

5) if you double-click on one of the notes fields what type is it. data - last occurrence - sum , etc
