Dynamics 365 for Talent + Office 365 Integration

Hi Everyone,

Could anyone help advising on my following questions?

Q1. With the Office 365 integration, users are synced to Dynamics 365 for Talent automatically. However, will user information from Office 365 (i.e. position, title, reporting manager, etc.) be brought into Talent as well? The use case is if the customer organization has 50 employees to be set up as users of Talent, do we have to manually set up all the employee details in Talent again (i.e. reporting manager, organizational hierarchy), or can that information be synced from Office 365?

Q2. When it comes to accessing the Talent Career Site, it looks like one can only login with Microsoft account, Google and LinkedIn. It appears it doesn't support other email providers such as Yahoo, correct?

Q3. In Attract within Dynamics 365 for Talent, when scheduling the interview with the applicant , it looks like we can only select the date of the interview. Is there a way for the applicant to suggest on the time slots as well during this scheduling process? How can that be communicated with the hiring team?

Thank you!

    Hi

A1. You could use that data to load into Talent via the data migration framework, but it won't automatically sync across from AAD, no.

A2. That's correct - Microsoft have chosen to use those three identity managers at present. If there's an alternative that you are eager to use I'd suggest submitting an idea on experience.dynamics.com/ideas as Microsoft have been pretty receptive to well supported ideas on this product so far.

A3. You can include the option for the candidate to indicate their preferred date from a range selected by you, although they can't currently indicate a preference for time slots within those dates. That isn't then communicated to the hiring team until the interview has been scheduled and the interviewers are notified of the interview appointment details.

    Hope that helps,

    Tom
