Item arrival with lower qty than the line throw error

Hello, I have the under/over delivery flag on, but sometimes, important “sometimes” when I try to post the item arrival with partiall quantity of the purch line, the system throw error:

 

What is the reason that ait fails some times, because then i create another purchase with the same item, and reciving a partiall qty, it doesn't fail, it just work

    The error shows that is under delivery 31.4%, and then I create another order with the same order line and it works, no error shows

    Hi @WZ-04091043-0,

    A few questions:
    1. Is there a tolerance limit set at item or vendor level? Reason for asking is if this differs between the purchase orders, then the same item might behave differently depending on the setups.
    2. If the tolerance and all other parameters are properly set then does the partial quantity fall within the allowed range for posting to proceed?

     

    Suggestions:
    The under/over delivery flag allows one to receive quantities outside the original order, but the permitted percentage is controlled by the under delivery and over delivery tolerances set on the purchase line item. In case of partial quantity that we are receiving in this case, the system throws an error. The line is already partially received so there is a possibility that the remaining quantity may not match the allowed tolerance causing an error on partial receipts.

    Hi,

     

    You can set over and under delivery in the parameters. When you create a new order line it copies these values as default. These can be changed on the item line details. Can you check if the correct over and under delivery values are set on the order line(s)?
