Is there any way to view quantity of items we have allocated up until a certain date?

Posted on by 145

I believe there's a demand report, but I'm new and am a  bit lost.

What I would like is to be able to see how many of X items are allocated until Y date. I can pull up the inventory page and look at individual items and their allocated numbers, but would like a date range.
Thanks.

Hi. I'm very confused and getting frustrated with dynamics. I followed that link you shared but I can't find those options either. In power platform admin center, it says I have Dynamics 365 Business Central license, I assume in order to gain  this functionality, I need to purchase a different license?  Like I'm so confused, why does this have to be so complicated? I go on Microsofts site for dynamics 365 and there's like 5 different versions of the same thing. I then go to guides and half the guides don't even have screenshots of the starting point or how to navigate to the places they're saying to go. I just want to be able to see allocated units until a certain date for products. Do I need dynamics 365? Dynamics 365 supply chain management? Dynamics 365 finance and operations? Dynamics CRM? In what "app"? Field service?  Sales hub? The million other apps within? This is so ridiculous.

I followed the guide, went to warehouse, but there's no product inventory tab at all. So I can't even get to that step, let alone get what I want out of the dynamics 365. I'm so frustrated.

    Edit:

Nevermind, forget it. It seems that the people who set this up beforehand didn't do it correctly, we need Business Central. Thanks.

    Hi XeXE,

You are using Field service app but the documentation is about Supply Chain management.

Maybe you can refer the following link:

Hi. I'm just trying to view the amount of inventory allocated until a certain date. I'm logged into field service, selected "inventory" at the bottom, but cannot find a way to do view allocated inventory. I'm trying to follow the guide in the screenshot that Microsoft provides"
