Script errors.

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

I have recently taken over CRM at my location after the previous person left the company.  I have users who are getting scripting errors when creating a client call.   Having no knowledge of CRM, can anyone give me so ideas on where to start to resolve their issues?

Here is what they are getting:

An error has occurred in a script on this page

Line 62

Char 1

Error – object required

Code 0

URl (it lists a long URL)

Do you want to continue running scripts on this page:

            Yes     No

They are able to continue and CRM work for them, but each time they create a new client call they get the same message.

Thank you

    Hi,

    1. Use the IE developer toolkit to get the detailed error and web resource name where the script is. After which you can work on the fix based on the error. If you can post the error obtain here i can suggest something.

    2. As a immediate fix, you can ask end users to change the personal setting in CRM to disable script debugging pop up.

    Hope this helps. Thanks!

    Hi Jarumbo,

If you post a screenshot it's better.

    Also refer the following thread:

    Hope this helps.
