How to pull down GP SSRS rpts back into BI Visual Studio for edit

I have GP10 SSRS reports installed in SSRS server and available in GP (Custom Reports).  All works.  I am using the BI Visual Studio that gets installed with SQL2008. I want to pull down a GP report from the SSRS server into VS so I can make changes.  Anyone know how to “download” a report from the SSRS server into Visual Studio?  I know how to use deploy to “upload” a report to the server but don’t see a download.  Thanks.

    Hi Joe,

From the SSRS site, highlight the report you want to modify, click the drop-down, and select Download.  This will download the .rdl for this report into a location you choose.  You can then create a new SSRS report project in Visual Studio and "Add Existing Item/Report" to bring the .rdl into your solution.

Alternatively, if you take a look out on CustomerSource, you will see that Microsoft has posted an entire solution file that contains the .rdl for most of the reports that are part of the installation package.

    Hope this helps,

    David

Thanks David, I see the Download option.  That works.   The Solution file would be great, do you know the name of this solution on CS?  Thanks again.

I found this under an article titled: "Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services Reports for Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010".  This is accessible from the Deployment | Product Releases window.  It is a separate link from the "Product Release Downloads for Microsoft Dynamics GP" link.
