Different task behaviour when creating task in Outlook or when they are synced from Dynamics CRM

Hi!

Did anyone have the same experience when creating tasks in Dynamics 365 (I noticed this in v8.2 of CRM) and syncing them to Outlook client using server sync in comparison to creating task directly in Outlook with the same parameters.

I have Dynamics 365 (CRM) in MS cloud and Exchange Online with configured serverside sync.

I created two tasks:

1. Created task in CRM with following parameters:

2. I created the identical task in Outlook, with the same parameters:

When my CRM task synced to Outlook over serverside sync I checked how it looks in Outlook client. It looks that all parameters (Due date and Reminder) are the same as for second task created directly in Oultook.

But after I got a Notification Window up, there is a differrence, when task from CRM will past due. While Outlook task is 6 hours overdue, the CRM task will be overdue in 11 hours.

The problem must be in some user local settings somewhere, but I checked:

1. Outlook client

2. CRM user

3. Office 365 accont

And in all three applications time zone is the same.

Any idea which setting I missed?

Many thanks for help and best regards!

Slavko

We have the same issue. Have you figured out how to fix it yet?
