Disappearing Menu Bar

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

This bug is occurring with MS CRM v2016, update 0.1, on-premise, auto-saved disabled, web client.

The menu bar (save, new, deactivate etc). disappears when navigating back to the parent record after viewing more than one related entity grids.  For example; open an account record, from the navigation bar select 'Activites' to view the activities associated to the account.  Next, from the navigation bar select 'Closed Activities' to view the closed activities associated to the account.  Next, click on the account name to navigate back to the account form.  The menu bar (save, new etc.) is now gone.  If you refresh the browser (F5), it returns.

It happens with any related entity (custom or managed).  It only happens when you view two or more related entities.  Has anyone else experienced this?  Anyone heard if this will this be corrected in a future update?

Thanks.

    Hi Jen,

Same configuration here, tried both IE and Chrome, all working good for me, it could be something to do with your system.
