Cancel Packing Slip deletes the Packing Slip record

I currently have a client that has 2 companies.  In one of the companies when you cancel the Packing slip, the packing slip record remains for historical purposes and works as expected and as I have seen at other client sites.

At the same client, but in another company, when the Packing slip is cancelled, the record is deleted.  Completely deleted, I have checked the CustPackingSlipJour and CustPackingSlipTrans tables and there is no record for the Packing slip. 

Is there a setting somewhere that controls this functionality?  Has anyone ever seen this before?

    Hi Ansel,

    To my knowledge there is no setting for this. Is it possible that some customizations in the one environment that shows this behavior is responsible for that?

    Are these all live environments or sandboxes?

    Thanks for the response and confirmation that this isn't standard.  To my knowledge, there is no customization around this function, especially for this specific company but now I will need to double check.  This is in the Production environment, but can be replicated in the sandbox environments. Knowing that this isn't standard behavior is a huge help and eliminates the need to find the setting so I can just dig in to the code.  Thanks!
