Default values on "Manage Costs" form (InventItemPrice)

Hey all,

I'm trying to setup default values on the "Manage Costs" form (InventItemPrice) when to select the "New" button. The problem I'm having is setting up the default value for the "Site".

It seems to not be a part of the "ItemPriceSimulated" data source on that form. I thought it was "InventDimID", but when I set it nothing happens. I feel like I'm missing a step because Site is actually a drop down and not just a simple text box.

Any help is always appreciated by this fine group! :)

Hi,

If you track cost prices in a costing version, you have to specify the site and once the price is activated in the costing version it defaults into the item master cost price field.

Maybe that's something you want to test.

The site is always the same for us, that's why we are trying to programmatically set the value for our users.

Hi Pedro Coelho,

You can check setSiteId() method on the InventItemPrice form, as you can see standard AX defaults site there if there is a costing version.
