CRM 4.0 published customizations not showing for hours

I have an irritating problem with the time it takes from publishing a customization until the customizations actually appear. I seem to have to wait until the next day (certainly 6 hours) for them to show.

No error appears when I publish, and they do eventually publish. I have already tried deleting my temp internet files (a suggestion I saw elsewhere) but this has not made a difference.

Does anyone know how I can resolve this?

Hi Kelly,

It should generally be reflected immideately after the customizations have been published. However, in cases, where you do not see the changes immideately, you can try an iisreset after the customizations have been published and then hit F5 to refresh CRM. You should be able to see the changes.
