SSRS Report: Printing on a Bank Check Issue How Can I Print on the edge of paper? Should I go with Portrait or Landscape?

Hello awesome community!

This is my first time working on printing bank checks (Cheques).

My problem is, since the check paper is small, There are two fields in the check form paper which are the "Date" and "Place of Issue",

and these two fields are really close to the top edge of the check paper, so when I try to print the Data on these two fields, I could not put the data exactly on the fields. Here is a picture:

as you can see on the picture, the date and place of issue printed data needs to get pulled up a little bit to be on top of the lines.

The place of issue is not a problem, but the date since it's really close to the edge of paper.

and here is how it looks in the design screen:

Check-Design-Issue-3.jpg

and here is the margins and paper size screen:

Check-Design-Issue-2.PNG

And here is the location screen of the "Date" field:

check-location.PNG

The printer is: Canon iP2700.

Even the the date field in the design location "Top: 0 cm", it still prints under the line of the form.

I believe the issue is because the date field is really close to the edge of the paper and the printer won't be able to print there?

is there a work around this issue?

and BTW I have printed it as a portrait paper. and I have put the paper in the printer horizontally like this

Well, I found out the answer once I posted the question hahaha.

The solution I found is, to print as a landscape and and move the design elements in the middle of the paper instead of putting it on the top, and to put the check paper in the printer in a vertical position.

    Thanks. :)
