Printing the Receipt header on every page of a receipt

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Is there a simple way to edit the XML for the sales receipt so that the print header with the company logo appears on every page?

Thank you, I am designing a receipt that is 8.5 X 3.4,  I have made some adjustments to the XML already so seeing your example would help greatly.

    Hello,

I use one that I edited and Logo works fine on all pages. Here is what I have:

Of course to use multipage the paper size is single sheet we use A4 which is the closest to 8.5 inches wide (i don't like inches but it seems is embedded in receipt format).

In XML file down the bottom of the list the last few SUBs deal with header Overlay.

I set the first and middle page overlay to CALL both "DrawHeader" and "DrawFooter".

I set the Last and Only page overlay to CALL "DrawHeader" and "DrawLastFooter"

In my file these edits could only be done with XML editor Probably this is your solution.

If you still need more help please reply to my friendship request and I will send the file I have.

Thanks for the quick reply but those options seem to only allow me to add the header to the first page of the receipt, I want the company logo on every page that the receipt spans across. Have you seen it done it before?

    Hello,

There is no need to edit the actual file.

On RMS Manager go Database > Registers > Receipt formats.

Select the receipt that interest you and > properties.

    Select Sales and properties.

On the Attributes left side there is a list of things you can play with like margins logos headers etc...

Find the "Show Logo" and select true and then OK or Save As. This way every register has to be done individually.

If you want to edit the actual XML file, find this same entry and change "False" to "True".
