Does anyone know if GP will be releasing a tax update hotfix to address the recent Illinois tax hike?

It's not out yet, but it will be coming (soon maybe). You can manually adjust the tax table to run payroll correctly now.
Tools - Setup - System - Payroll Tax
Select Illinois
Select Filing Status, change Flat Tax Rate from 3.75000% to 4.95000%
