VAT Reporting Date Usage Field not available in General Ledger Setup

I have two Companies in the same Environment. In one company, I can see the "VAT Reporting Date Usage" field in the General Ledger Setup as shown below. It appears as "Tax Date Usage". However in another Company, this field is not available in the General Ledger Setup Page. No option add in Personalization. I do see it in the Page Inspection.

What setting or localization determine availability of this field in specific company? Thank you.

VAT Reporting Date Usage Field not available in General Ledger Setup

The Tax fields are visible based on whether the application area is enabled or not. Please check if you have set up Sales Tax in the company where you don't see the field. You can verify this using the Assisted Setup and Setup Sales Tax features.

Unfortunately, this is determined by the Region you selected when the environment was created and cannot be modified in the environment.

However, you can try to display this field using the following method.

Hi,

I am having the sames questions as YUN ZHU.

Are your two companies in different environments, and do those environments have different regional settings?

You can check (if it helps) over Company Information page in both companies.

Compare the value in the Country/Region field in both companies which I hope in different environments.

VAT Reporting Date Usage Field not available in General Ledger Setup

The VAT Reporting Date Usage (Tax Date Usage) field exists in both companies, but it only shows on the General Ledger Setup page if the company is configured for VAT; if the company uses Sales Tax, the field is hidden (though still visible in Page Inspection).

VAT Reporting Date Usage Field not available in General Ledger Setup

Are your two companies in different environments? And are the regions of the two environments different?

The ApplicationArea property of this field is set to VAT, so this field can only be seen in environments where the Application Area is VAT, not Sales Tax.
