I'm trying to match CustInvoice to TPCShip data and am having issues trying to go through either Picking List or Packing Slip. Any mapping information would be appreciated.

Thanks

    Sure.

Let me preface by saying I am not an AX application user. I have a request to generate a report that will identify what items and quantities were sent in each carton of each shipment for a specified Sales Order. For example:

I have a sales order that has 2 items - InventDim 10001 had 2 units ordered, item and InventDim 20002 had 2 item ordered and InventDim 30003 had 4 units ordered.

When receiving the data back from the inventory system, I get the following:

    Picking List 1 (Invoice A01)

    Carton 1

    10001 (1 unit)

    30003 (3 units)

    Carton 2

    20002 (1 units)

    Picking List 2 (Invoice A02)

    Carton 1

    10001 (1 unit)

    20002 (1 unit)

    30003 (1 unit)

I need a report that shows this information while pulling some information from the Customer Invoice (CUSTINVOICEJOUR) and the Sales Line item (SALESLINE).  I can get all that but am having issues writing the query with the proper JOIN relationships against the TPCSHIP tables and the INVENTPICK tables.

    Hope that helps.

    Hi

Which AX version are you using ?

As per my understanding, you can find this information on InventTrans table linked with CustInvoiceTrans by InventTransid.

On InventTrans you will find the details related the Picking List created. Then, you can go through the Picking Route ID field and link InventTrans with WMSPickingRoute table.

According with the AX version, I can move you in the right direction.

    I hope this help.

    Hi Raul

If you want the Picking List details in AX 4.0 starting from Invoice, you have to link the InventPickingListTrans table with CustInvoiceTrans by InventTransID.

In this way, for each Invoice lines you will have the picking list details.

    Hi Raul

Excuse me but with the above relation you can retrieve also Picking list not related to the specific invoice.

In the past I made a customization on AX 4.0 to save on InventTrans the Pickinglist involved in the Invoicing process, like AX 2009.

Currently, within the InventTrans you have only the link with the packing slips.

Let me know if you want more details about my customization.

    Regards
