In Salesforce.com you can add a customer form or a bus object eg a sales coaching note/record to an event with security. How can you do the same in Dynamics CRM?
When a sales manager goes out on joint sales calls there is a requirement to record observations, feedback & response on the sales call.
Rather than creating a separate Appointment to the same customer with same contacts etc to record a joint sales Coaching call with simple multiple text fields like observations, feedback, next steps and coachee's right of response... How can you add this Coaching Note/Record to an existing Appointment with security that only the coachcee & coach can see & edit the coaching for HR privacy reasons.
The alternative is to double up on appointments in the diaries and re:record the sales call objective sand outcomes twice, or do it all manually outside CRM in an excel spreadsheet.
I am looking for standard functionality here not an add on purchase if possible.
Thanks

I have the same question (0)Hello Mic,
You can do this by editing security roles of the users.
If you set the Read privilege to the User Level Access, the users with this role will only have access to their records.
There is also the Business Unit Level Access, which allow the users to see their records and the records created by members of their Business unit.
