Can RMS SP2 / Hotfixes be done one store at a time?

I have several stores running RMS version 2.0.0105, as well as having Headquarters at our corporate office using version 2.0.0105.

I would like to apply service pack 2 and the latest hotfix to the RMS Store Operations software at one of my stores (going to be onsite this weekend), which will bring it up to version 2.0.0119. However, I do not want to apply SP2/hotfixes to the other stores or to HQ right away (this will be done on a staged upgrade schedule over the course of a few weeks).

Can I upgrade just one store and still allow it to communicate with HQ through the client, or do I have no choice but to take all of my stores down, upgrade them all at once, and upgrade HQ?

     you can not do this, as updates modify tables APIs in RMS store and HQ, if you upgrade one side, you may have errors in worksheets also you will have errors in transmitted data and functionality between stores and HQ.
