Hello All,
I'm currently working on a requirement where we want once a stock adjustment is posted in POS by operator
1. Do no auto-post this journal in D365 (which I know can be done using Permission groups).
2. When this journal is real-time created in D365, it should go through the additional validation
(a) If in any of the journal the line quantity is less than a value for example, greater than 1000, then the workflow should auto-approve the journal
(b) But, if the line quantity is greater than 1000, the workflow should send an email to specific users
While I know (a) and (b) can be achieved using stock management workflow, my queries are -
1. Can a stock adjustment submitted in POS, go through the workflow (without a user submitting it to workflow in D365)
2. How do I set this workflow (I'm trying to find how to make a decision based on line quantity > 1000, False = auto-approve the journal, True = Reject the journal and send an email to a distribution list)
How can we achieve all this?
Hi Sneha,
If you are referring to Workflows below, please check this doc for the one dedicated to inventory journal:

Hope it helps.
