Quickbooks Pro 2009 does not prompt for permission when the grant access button is clicked in Rapid Start. We have a single company and Quickbooks is running however it does not appear that the request is being received.

I saw some activity like this when working with Rapid Start on prior occassions.  I found there was a phantom session of QuickBooks running, which needed to be closed using the Task Manager application.

Thank you for your inquiry. Here are a few typically resolutions for this:

    1. Ensure you are logged into the machine as a local admin.

    2. Disable UAC and reboot the machine.

    3. Make sure you only have one instance of QB's open, and no QB windows.

    4. Download the latest tool available for your version:

    5. Is the tool installed to the same drive as QB's?

    6. Are there any logs showing up in program Data\Intuit\QuickBooks? The log file should start with QB.
