Backup of Company Data

Question: when I perform a backup of a specific company in my Nav 2013 DB from Nav Dev Environment, am I only backing up RAW data for that company?  I don't want to perform a FULL b/u whereby all source code is included as well.  Please advise.  I also have the option of exporting data of these company tables from SQl server management studio.  But it would be nice to know if doing it from Nav Dev environment is the same thing.  Thank you much in advance.

    It is your option if you want to include application objects or not, and thus have just data or data with application objects.

    Hi mbr,

    In my opinion, backup raw data (selected companies only) from NAV Dev Environment contains more information than just export data from SQL Server Management Studio, including tables definition, some mandatory common data such as Company table.

    Thank you.  I decided to just export via SQL Server Mangement Studio to ensure ONLY data is exported.
