Hi Francesco,
There are no duplicate records with same reference code in master.
Hi Sandeep,
are you sure you dont have any duplicated value?
Please not if you have record with duplicated field values (like two account with same code) CRM cannot resolve the relation.
Try to search for duplicated value in deactivated object too.
Please let me know.

hi Franceso,
Thanks for your reply,
i have tried that too.... but it dint work.
Hi Sandeep,
to import an excel referencing another field you need to map it during import setup.

Hi Francesco,
Thank You for your reply, it worked. Thank You, But still a small query. i am able to import data using name, but not by using reference field.
For ex: have a Customer name: sample test, and Customer Code: 123, when i am trying to import data using name, its imported successfully, but when i try to import using Customer Code, its not being Imported.
Hi Sandeep,
im pretty sure you have a duplicated label over your entity column.
Please control you dont have two different attributes with the same label, like
standard attribute "parentaccountid" -> label "Parent account"
custom attribute "new_parentaccountid" -> label "Parent account"
In this case CRM cannot evaluate the right attribute to match, and then fails to import that attribute, without error.
To resolve this problem, add a suffix or prefix to one attribute, like "Parent account (custom)"
Please let me know if you solve.

hi Guillaume,
Thank you for your reply,
when i import data, no error is found. data is imported successfully. but data in lookup field is missing. in remaining fields data is populated in CRM system.
Hi,
maybe that can help you out: community.dynamics.com/.../153658
Hi Iswarya
Thank you for your reply,
we already have data in master entity, even though data is not populated in imported records.
Hi,
see this scenario
i have lookupfield name as "Service"(Service field Target Entity Name is "Service Master") in my Opportunity Entity.
=>Here i have to import "Service Master" first
=>after have to import "Opportunity"
now the lookupfield value available
like wise you do
first import your lookupfield target entity, after import your required entity and map lookupfield .
