Standard Data Entity Reference Issue

Hello Everyone

Actually I'm getting error on dev environment regarding one standard field of data entity CredManCreditlimitDate. We're unable to find out the root cause of the error.

This field is a extended field in Credit Management model and we have taken this model reference in our current model.

We have tried Model build, DB Synchronization, Full Build but the error is still there.

I have the same question (0)

Hi, like you say that's a custom field on the data entity, could you show how its been added/implemented?

Its extended in standard Model Credit Management, I haven't added it.

aaah okay, standard field, got you.

The error does suggest a missing reference in the model you are working, ie where the extension is

    Hi,

It looks like you are trying to build a custom project. Did you extend the data entity with e.g. new fields from your model? What exact changes did you apply and what model references do you have in your customization model?

On a vanilla 10.0.38 environment, I can extend CustCustomerV3 and modify the parameters of that field (CredManCreditlimitDate), the only other prerequisite was adding a few model references. Build cross references and check if any other customisations are referencing that Data Entity which could be causing this.

We have checked every cross reference its fine but we're using 10.0.36 environment. Will it affect anything?

    Hi Sorry,
I forgot to update this post.  This issue is resolved by following these steps.

    1. Perform full build.
    2. Delete the extension of data entity that you have taken in your model.
    3. Now after this if the error is still persist then do model build with data synchronization.

After this you can again create extension of data entity and use it as per the requirement.
